Leather needs careful care and attention. When purchasing leather goods we recommend you to apply a thin layer of leather balm before first use. Approximately 15 minutes later, brush the now dried surface with a brush to keep the finish of the leather in good condition. Now move on to step three: Spray a leather protector evenly over the surface to keep your goods more resistant against water and dirt. This procedure is - for best sustainability - to be done continuously throughout the life of your product.
Sneaker Wipes are a good way to keep your leather goods in neat condition between deep cleanses. Keeping one in your bag or in the pocket of your jacket at all times will save you those days you accidentally take a step in the gutter or put your bag down on a dirty surface.
Upon launching, we tried several brands and products for leather care. What worked absolutely best on our products was Sneaker LAB - which is why we also sell these products.
We recommend you to make a visit to your local cobbler to get the best care for your product.

Surfaced leather is really something extraordinary. These models have an additional surface on top of the leather, which makes them not only pretty, but easy to care for. Surfaced leather does not have to be treated in any way. No leather creams, no protection spray and no brushing. The only thing you need to do with surfaced leather is to gently rub a damp cloth over it when it has attracted dirt, or if you simply want to polish up the finish of your product.
*Note that scuff marks are more visible on surface leather than on a plain leather, so please be a little bit more gentle when using these type of products.
What most people don’t know is that suede need the same care and attention as plain leather. Although it does not need any creams or balms, the rest of the procedure is the same. Start by brushing the surface with a suede brush to restore the nap and keep the finish in good condition. Now move on to step two: Spray a leather protector over the suede to keep your goods more resistant against water and dirt. This procedure is - for best sustainability - to be done continuously throughout the life of your product.
*This routine applies for all of our suede products including shoes and bags.
Clean the excess dirt of the soles with a dampened cloth and soak the soles in a mixture of dishwashing liquid and water for 10 minutes (please make sure to not soak the upper part, that might damage the leather). When soaked, scrub the soles with a toothbrush to get all those hard to reach areas. For maximal effect, dip the toothbrush in the mixture. When you feel satisfied with the cleaning finish off by drying the shoe using paper towels or a dry cloth.
Please follow the wash care symbols and instructions on the clothing item you have purchased.
